My name is Dan Dooros I grew up in San Pedro, CA graduated from UCLA and have lived in Long Beach with my wife Pam since 1986.   Im a real estate professional who believes the best thing I can do for my clients is to assist them in opening the door of opportunity through the purchase of real estate.  Prior to starting a career as a real estate professional, I worked at the University of California Irvine as the associate vice chancellor for student affairs and while at UCI I was amazed at the number of young successful people who never considered owning a home for themselves and therefore would not realize the benefits of appreciation and wealth building all while having a say in their financial destiny but who were instead satisfied with renting an apartment.  And every year I would listen to their horror stories of how they just received notification that their rent would be going up 5 to 8% in two months’ time.
